At the end of the 19th century baron and agronomist Antonio Mendola begun to study the vines. Among the documents found there is the birth certificate of the Grillo vine, which dates back to 1874. Baron Mendola used artificial insemination to obtain this vine in his vineyard located in Piana dei Peri, Favara, right in the place where our vineyards are today.
A wide range of wines, reach in personality and intense flavours, that perfectly reflect the essence of Sicily and the characteristics of the different grapes' varieties.
Our aim is a careful control of the temperature in order to reach a perfect fermentation, a balanced conservation in stainless steel barrels until the bottle-aging in our innovative wine cellars.

Visit to the cellar and wine tastingA unique and inimitable territory. Our wine cellar is located in Favara (Agrigento), 400 metres above sea level, in the heart of Sicily. The vineyards partly belong to the coast and partly to the hills, exactly where the Grillo variety appeared for the first time.
