Morreale and Sapori a KmZero project
Casa Vinicola Morreale has joined the Sapori a KmZero project, an initiative that guarantees the promotion of products from the Central Sicily area.
Over the last few years there has been growing attention to the problems associated with the progressive lengthening of the agro-food supply chains, which involve an increase in costs and, therefore, in the final price of the product, as well as a not always correct management of the quality of the product itself.
This type of arrangement has had significant consequences for both the producer and the consumer, favoring, on the one hand, the exclusion of small producers from the market, because they are not very competitive and unable to guarantee the required production standards, on the other, preventing the consumer to be able to know the path of their purchases and to be able to carry out a substantial check on their quality.
